For ages 7-18. (Must be age 7 by 12/31/25)
Preseason competitive swimming program. starting the week of September 11th, to give swimmers an opportunity to focus on conditioning, race strategy, and how to operate in a team. These options are not swimming lessons. Swimmers must be able to swim the four strokes with some proficiency.

NOTE: Fall/Winter Recreation Swim Team and USA Short Course Swim Team registration begin September 2nd

Introduction to Swim Team
(Novice competitive swimmers ages 12 /under recommended)
Must have some experience and have passed Level 4 swim lessons. Swimmers will improve on the techniques of all 4 competitive strokes: Freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Must be comfortable swimming in water 12' deep at a maximum of 800 yards per practice. Swimmers will learn the fundamentals of being part of a swim team and how an actual swim meets is run.
Meets Monday, Wednesday & Fridays 5:30-6:30 p.m.  Fee: $55/person.

Junior Pre-Season
(Swim team experience required for ages 11/under)
This is open to swimmers who have been on the Glastonbury Swim Team or other competitive swim team programs. Glastonbury swim team members who were in Juniors 1 & 2 are encouraged to sign up for this program. New swimmers to the team should contact the Head Coach for appropriate placement. Must be comfortable with swimming in water 12' deep, at a maximum of 200 yards without stopping. The swimmer will build endurance progressively on a weekly basis.   
Meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 3:30-4:30 p.m. (no program on 9/18)
Fee: $60/person.

Senior Pre-Season.
(Swim team experience required for ages 11/over)
This is open to swimmers who have been on the Glastonbury Swim Team or other competitive swim team programs. Glastonbury swim team members who were in Juniors 2 & Seniors are encouraged to sign up for this program. New swimmers to the team should contact the Head Coach for appropriate placement. Must be comfortable with swimming in water 12' deep, at a maximum of 400 yards without stopping. The swimmer will build endurance progressively on a weekly basis.
Meets Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-7:30 p.m. and Saturdays 4:30-6:30 p.m. Fee: $75/person.
