Camp Discovery 2023
A traditional day camp program designed to meet the needs of working parents while providing a fun-filled day. Campers participate in program areas, swim lessons, free swim, special events, and field trips. Campers are split into three groups, all meeting at the same location and seeing each other throughout the day but field trips and activities will differ.  This is not a drop-in program and campers should plan on being there for the entire day.

Preview Week & Adventure Week - No Swim Lessons. 

New Register for Age Groups
Campers must be registered by Age Group.  Please see sub headings below and select the correct group for your child. 

New Hours & Extended Care
Camp Discovery will now run 8:30-4:30 with Extended Care offered from 7:30-8:30 and 4:30-5:30.  All campers who are registered for Camp Discovery and wish to register for Extended care will be accommodated.
Extended Care will be $30 per session/$18 for preview week for AM Extended Care and PM Extended Care will also be $30 per session/$18 for preview week. Information on how to register for before and after care will be emailed to all families registered for Camp Discovery in May.  
Extended Care is not available for Adventure Week.

Camp Discovery Junior
An introduction to our traditional Camp Discovery program.  This half-day program will include arts & crafts, games, special activities, and weekly trips to the pond or splash pad.  Campers should pack a lunch and will eat together before going home.  

Day Tripping with Parks & Rec
Camp Discovery will not meet on June 19th and July 5th this year!  Need child care on these days or just looking for the kids to have a fun day out?  Join our camp staff on a day out.     Click Here to Register for the Day Trip

PAYMENT OPTIONS NEW
A minimum deposit of $100 is due at time of registration for each camp/session you are registering for. 

A Payment Plan Form will be required to be filled out for camp. This can be filled out before registration day but does not mean you are registered for the camp you will still need to go through the traditional registration process. Link to Payment Plan Form is below in "Links" section. 

     *Select “yes” on the Payment Plan Form and an Auto Payment plan will be setup for your household charging 50% of the balance due on April 12th and the remaining balance on May 12th.
     *Select “no” on the Payment Plan Form and you can go online to pay the balance on your account by March 31, 2024.
     *Select “no” on the Payment Plan Form and pay the full amount when registering.

The option to setup a Payment Plan is only available through March 28th.  If registering after March 28th the full amount will be due at time of registration.

FILL OUT YOUR FORMS EARLY!  
Looking to get one step ahead? Fill out the required camp forms prior to registration day! Required forms for Camp Discovery include: Camper Information Form, Camp Permission Form,  Camp Swimming Information and Payment Plan Form,  filled out for each camper you plan on registering.  
Required forms for Discovery Junior include: Camper Information Form, Camp Permission Form and Payment Plan Form.

NOTE: Filling out these forms does NOT register you for the program. You will still need to go through the traditional registration process. Filling out the required forms ahead of time will simply mean a quicker check-out process on March 12! All required forms will appear during the checkout process if they are not filled out ahead of time. For more information click here! 

If program fills please add your child to the wait list!  We will do our best to move people off the wait list as quickly as possible.

Explorers
The youngest group of the Camp Discovery full day program. Explorers have completed K and 1st grade by the summer. In order to register your child for this group they must currently be in K or 1st grade.

The middle group of the Camp Discovery full day program. Pathfinders have completed Grades 2 and 3 by the summer. In order to register your child for this group they must currently be in 2nd or 3rd grade.

Adventure Week
Open to children who have completed grades K-6. Join us for an action packed week of camp as we go on trips every day! Drop off and pickup will be from the Academy Building but bus will leave every morning approx. 9 AM to take the kids on a field trip for the day. No before or after care available this week. No swim lessons.
