Pickleball Lessons - Adult Outdoor Lessons-Spring • Register • View Cart •

Pickleball Paddle and Ball
Pickleball is the hottest new sport!  Adult lessons are being offered outdoors on Saturday mornings. The spring classes will be held at the new pickleball courts adjacent the Riverfront Community Center and Addison Park tennis courts.

This season, lessons will be for adult only ages 18 and up There will are also classes specifically for age 60 and up.

Beginner Classes
Participants will learn how to effectively hit the ball, maintain a rally, keep score, the rules and basic game play. At the end of the session, participants will have a basic understanding of the game and be able to start playing pickle ball.

Intermediate Classes
A play and learn format where new skills are taught through drills and games. Serve and return, non-volley zone transition, dinking, backhand, positioning and strategy will be covered. Participants should be a soid 3.0 player per USA Pickleball Ratings.  https://pickleballguide.net/pickleball-skill-rating-system-explained/

NOTE: All participants must provide their own pickleball paddle.
